But is it really that bad?
Of course I love little kids and their coogy-woogy-big-cuteee-cheeks and adorable eyes.. but that's totally different to a developing foetus.
I mean, just look at the foetus.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging it by its 'cover' - I'm just saying, abortion is totally different to what people may see as 'murdering'. Actually, I think that under the RIGHT circumstances, it's in fact for the good. Sometimes, we just havto be realistic in what we do, it may initially seem unfair or unethical to just usurp the role of God and decide who lives and who doesn't - but trust me, everything has a reason.

Still don't believe me?

Okay, scenario time.

Imagine your a woman (yes, even if your a guy) and your now about 2 months pregnant, so the foetus is only the size of a kidney bean. You've been so excited for the new arrival, you've even put your dream job on hold for this exciting moment in your life. You and your husband (yes, even if your a guy again) have even gone baby shopping to buy the cute tiny clothing and toys for the expecting child. Everything is going just perfectly.

Soon enough, it's your monthly check-up with the doctor again and she does the usual routine checks and tests upon you to ensure everything is going smoothly. However, this time it isn't so smooth - and the doctor seems genuinely concerned. You ask her curiously, "What happened doctor? Is everything okay?"

The doctor replies, "I need to talk to you."

Your heart skips a beat, you know that with such a serious tone, something is definitely wrong. You sit down on the chair opposite the doctor, eagerly waiting for the news. Praying, hoping. Just hoping that it isn't bad news.

"What is it doctor?"

The doctor looks straight into your eyes, "I'm afraid your expecting child has down syndrome. You still have an option as to whether you wish to abort the child or keep it. Please think carefully about your decision."

So what's your decision?

Would you allow the kidney bean-sized foetus to fully develop into a child affected with down syndrome.

A child you wanted to keep because you didn't want to 'murder' it, but instead expose him/her to the cruel world.

A child to which the world would see them as being "abnormal"- glaring.

A child that is to be kept under special supervision at all times and educated at special schools, isolated from everyone else.

A child that cannot communicate properly, and instead gets frustrated even when you as the mother cannot even understand his/her needs.

A child that cannot mix and play with other children, not because they don't want to but because those other children don't want to.

A child that suffers.

Is that what you want?

I know, that if ever I'm in such a scenario, I would take the dreaded abortion option.

Not because I'm selfish, but because I can't bear the suffering.

Not just any suffering, but a suffering I am hopeless to.

Let's Build Relationships By Dividing Males and Females!

"Do you go to an all-girl's school?"
"Nope.."
"Oh."

As being indian, I continually get this same question asked to me (whether by family or family friends) and after my answer, they automatically assume I have a boyfriend. No. I don't. And by the way, going to all all-girl's or co-ed school has NOTHING to do with it either.

I find it completely stupid when parents think that by sending their children to an all-girl's or all-boy's school, their safe from any relationships happening with their children. And their children are to remain pure for the rest of their life. Yeah well, I got some news for you, thats total bs.
What they don't know, is that they are in fact CAUSING relationships to happen. I mean, imagine being in a same-sex school, it would be just that bit boring since there's no one to impress or like or have a little crush on.. and then once your out of school - BAM! They're everywhere! ... and this is where things go out of control.
Whereas for someone in a co-ed school sees the opposite sex everyday.. and once their out of school - Bam. They're still there.. nothing changes.
See the difference? (The 'Bam' produced are of different impacts lol) This is what happens.

Same-sex school's to me is just purely unnatural. Society isn't all male or all female. We are a mix and most of our life is going to be like that, so stop changing it. Males and females work together, learn together, cooperate together .. but some parents just think there's only one thing that males and females do together. Gosh grow up, seriously.
People need to learn to handle and control self-temptations from seeing a 'hot guy' or a 'hot chick' and this is only by going to co-ed schools (unless your homosexual ofcourse lol).
Oh and this also brings me to the point that same-sex schools encourage homosexuality. Don't act as if you don't know... cause I know you do. We always here that "oh apparently there's more lesbians there" for some all-girl's school and honestly.. what else do you expect? I mean, these poor children forced to go to a same-sex school, they just have no other choice..

But anyways, I'm proud my parents didn't send me to some lesbian all-girls school.
They did the right thing.

There Doesn't Need To Be A God For A God To Exist.

"Do you believe in God?"

"I don't know.."

Is it possible to say '"I don't know" in whether you believe in something, it's either you do or you don't right?

God. It's a such a small word with so much power, but why? Why does God exist? Or does he even exist?

The whole concept is so complex that no one can answer everything about this 'God', everything mostly remaining a mystery. However, there are those which rely on the Bible, the Quran or the Vedas to provide the answers in the name of God - but these books were written by human beings, just like us.

So maybe there is no God and we're just creating religion.

But is it a bad thing?

I'm a hindu. And yes, I do hesitate even stating that, because frankly, I'm just a bit doubtful of the religion. Confused maybe, so that means I'm agnostic?

But never an athiest. I want to believe the existence of God, not know, just believe. Whatever the religion, they all stem from the one God and its this one God which I do believe in. And I also believe that this is the source of mental power to us individuals.

The fact that I believe God is there in times of grief, providing me that extra reassurance, makes me feel better.

The fact that I believe God is there when I'm suffering, providing that extra support, makes me feel better.

The fact that I believe God is there under times of pressure, giving me that extra confidence, makes me feel better.

The fact that I believe God is there when I'm lonely, giving me that extra comfort, makes me feel better.

The fact that I believe God is there when I'm afraid, giving me that extra strength, makes me feel better.

It is the belief in God which makes us feel better not the existence of God.

I know many people don't believe in God.. their reason being - "Where's the proof?"

And honestly, I thought the exact same way especially being a strong science supporter but sometimes we need to stop searching for the proof and just indulge in the good. I don't think there was an Adam or an Eve or a 'really juicy fruit' which they ate because they listened to a snake (which was Satan). And also, if they were the first people to inhabit Earth, how did anyone possibly know the every detail of their actions as if they were there watching right down on them? God didn't write the Bible, did he? Where are all the dinosaurs and large creatures which roamed the Earth (as shown by fossil evidence) in the bible?

It doesn't make much sense to me. In fact, my belief is that God did create man and woman BUT by evolution. God created the physics of the universe. He initiated the Big Bang (as well as the science behind it) which led to the formation of our universe, our Earth, our countries, our plants, our animals and our people. It is he who developed all laws of physics such as gravity, energy, motion and mass so that we could make sense of it. But still, I know that there is so much more we haven't yet discovered.

Christianity may not be a religion which I completely believe in but it is one which I do respect. However, their belief of a heaven and a hell serve good purposes in our society and although there is no proof that it is true, there also isn't any proof that it is false either. And such an idea cannot produce proof for either side.

Those that have a belief in God, look towards him in the grief of a lost one, assuring themselves that their lost one hasn't just 'disappeared' but gone to a better place where they watch upon you. Although there may not be heaven, the idea, is what is soothing and is what creates mental strength.

The contrasting creation of a hell is what creates a warning to those who sin in life. It is a motivation to continue to be faithful, loyal preventing any sinful acts. Although there may not be a hell, the idea, is what forms a pleasant society to live in.

So maybe the creation of religion is a good thing.

It serves a purpose, more to some than others. It definitely does to me.

DON'T THINK.
